Thomas Scores A Big One!

American Justin Thomas (pictured) has banked the first leg of the PGA TOUR’s Asian Swing by winning the 2019 CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges in South Korea.

The 26-year old wrapped up his campaign by carding a total of 20-under par 268, two clear shots of New Zealand’s South Korean-born Danny Lee who fired a total 18-under par 270.

Thomas has so far picked up eleven PGA TOUR titles and this is his second win at THE CJ CUP @ NINE BRIDGES.

Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama made a late charge up the leaderboard to finish at 15-under par which was good enough to earn the Japanese ace the third spot on his own. South Korea’s Byeong Hun An finished tied for sixth.

Southeast Asia’s top talent, Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat fired an eagle on 18 for a closing 3-under 69 to secure a top-10 finish.
