PING Veteran Westwood’s Still Got Game!
After a four-year dry spell, England’s Lee Westwood (pictured) stormed back to victory on the European Tour with a spectacular come-from-behind win at Gary Player’s Nedbank Challenge in South Africa.
The 45-year old Westwood shot a stunning eight-under-par 64 and stole the show from leader Louis Oosthuizen with a birdie at 17, completing the back nine in 31 to finish on 15 under.
Oosthuizen’s challenge faded as he finished third on 11 under behind Spain’s overnight leader Sergio Garcia.
The win was Westwood’s 24th on the European Tour and his third at the Nedbank.
