Magical Xander Stuns Hawaii!
Young American Xander Schauffele (pictured) staged a come-from-behind record-tying 11-under par 62 to claim his second-straight PGA Tour victory at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
Schauffele went into the final round five strokes back and slipped further behind with an opening-hole bogey, only to fire a course record-equalling 62 for a one-stroke win.
Overnight leader Gary Woodland had to settle for second despite a five-under 68, with former champion Justin Thomas in third spot and McIlroy a further three strokes back in tied-fourth.
The victory was worth a cool US$1.3 million!
