Hur Leads Scottish Open Rout!

The girls from Asia once again stamped their superiority in women’s professional golf when they duked it out to capture all the top placings in the 2019 Ladies Scottish Open.

Playing in miserable weather conditions and wrapped up in rain-gear, South Korea’s Mi Jung Hur (pictured) went on a closing birdie spree to slam-dunk four straight birdies to finish at 20-under par and end her five-year wait for a title. For the win, which she totally deserved, the tall South Korean took home a winner’s check for US$225,000.

Tied for second place was third round leader, Thailand’s Moriya Jutanugarn who scored 16-under par which was matched by South Korean M.J. Lee6.

A stroke back was Mi H-Lee at 15-under par.

Defending champion Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand launched a late charge but had to settle for 13-under par which helped the Asian stars to dominate at the top of the leaderboard.

Another superb day for Asia! Well done ladies!
