Hatton Emerges Victorious!

Six guys duked it out in a play-off that finally had to be played under floodlights. This is what happened in the sudden death play-off at the 2019 Turkish Airlines Open.

England’s Tyrrell Hatton (pictured) lifted the title after he parred the fourth extra hole.

The 28-year-old edged out Matthias Schwab after Erik van Rooyen, Kurt Kitayama, Victor Perez and Benjamin Hebert had earlier fallen by the wayside.

For the win Hatton picked up a first prize of US$2m with the five joint-runners-up collecting around US$430,000.

Robert MacIntyre and India’s Shubhankar Sharma were the best of the rest in joint-seventh place on 18-under.
