Hataoka Rockets To A Win!
The final round of the 2021 LPGA Marathon Classic was cancelled due to a heavy downpour which resulted in the tournament being reduced to a 54-hole event.
The winner was Japan’s pocket rocket – Nasa Hataoka. The pint-sized Japanese ace would have most likely won the event anyway as she had a huge lead going into the final round.
Hataoka, who held a two-stroke lead at the halfway point, extended her advantage to six after carding a 64 to move up to 19-under par after the third round.
The Philippines Yuka Saso (pictured) was tied fifth at 11-under par.
