Another First-Time Winner!
Gone are the days when the same familiar names kept winning on the PGA Tour.
These days, it is not unusual to see new names at the top of the leaderboard on a regular basis and the inaugural 3M Open sprung up another new winner.
A twenty-year old American, Matthew Wolff (pictured) stunned the fans when he eagled the final hole to claim his first PGA Tour event win at the 3M Open.
Wolff, claimed victory with a final score of 21-under 263 and did so by one-stroke over Bryson DeChambeau and Collin Morikawa.
Wolff became the youngest winner on the PGA Tour since Jordan Spieth in 2013.
Wolff is also just the third player after Tiger Woods and Ben Crenshaw to win an NCAA individual championship and a PGA Tour title in the same year.
