The Asian Tsunami Blows Strong In Singapore!

As predicted, Asian professionals dominated the opening round of the 2019 LPGA Women’s World Championship in Singapore.

Playing on the swanky New Tanjong Course at the award-winning Sentosa Golf Club, Thailand’s world number one, Ariya Jutanugarn (pictured) led the Asian charge.

The 23-year old ace shares the lead with South Korean born Minjee Lee who plays under Australian colours. Both the crack women golfers are locked at 4- under par.

A total of eight Asian stars occupy the top ten spots on the leaderboard and among them are names like China’s Shanshan Feng (3- under par), Japan’s pint-sized Nasa Hataoka (3-under par), and the other half of the Thai sister-act, Moriya Jutanugarn (3-under par).

The fans were excited to see top South Koreans in contention and the tournament holds tremendous promise for some top-notch competitive golf over the next few days.
