Asia Aces Rookie Of The Year Title!

There seems to be no stopping Asia’s top female golfing talents from dominating the LPGA Tour.

The latest to ace it is South Korea’s Lee Jeong-eun (pictured) who has clinched this year’s top Rookie Of The Year prize on the premier women’s professional golf tour.

Lee, the current world Number Four, has won the 2019 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award by earning 1273 points in the rookie standings.

With five tournaments left in the season, she holds a 756-point lead over the closest other contender.

Lee is the 13th player from South Korea to win the honour and the fifth consecutive Korean winner.

Recently, Korea’s Im Sung-jae earned top honours for Asia when he was voted the best rookie on the PGA Tour, becoming the first Asian and Korean to win the award.
