Singapore (June 18): Asia has a new number one! Less than three months after joining the ranks of the professionals, Hideki Matsuyama has eased into the highest position of any Asian in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). The 21-year-old Japanese continued his remarkable start to life as a professional by finishing in a tie for 10th in last week’s US Open at Merion Golf Club to soar into the OWGR's elite top-50 for the first time, in 49th position.
