Match Play Finalist Thongchai Books US Open Berth

Singapore (May 21): Thongchai Jaidee’s runner-up finish at the Volvo World Match Play Championship has propelled him into the top-50 in the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time since 2010.Thanks to that effort, Thongchai has moved up to 49th in the rankings and should now qualify automatically for next month’s US Open at Merion as the top-60 as of May 27 and June 10 will gain starting places at the year’s second Major.
